Those were completed in 2020, and are in use in ministries that are leading hundreds to Christ! Muslim background believers in East Africa have few discipleship resource materials. These 8 booklets address issues common to all believers, plus dealing with Muslim family and community questions. The 48-page booklets are bilingual for use throughout East Africa. They also will be available digitally from a secure website so people in restrictive areas can access the booklets. The team that wrote the booklets used an inductive approach to guide believers to their own conclusions based on Scriptures. Readers can study alone or in house fellowships. They are encouraged to write short essay answers to a few questions and send them to a special email address, where they can ask questions. Book Club members’ donations in March will help print 500 copies of each booklet: Grace and salvation. How we can have assurance before God. How to deal with broken relationships. Surviving and thriving when family, friends, and country reject believers. Growing a family with Christ. Most Somalis come from broken homes. How to model what a good family can be in Christ. Spirit powers. Dealing with evil eye, curses, jinn, and spiritual oppression. Becoming the man God wants you to be. Issues about manhood in East African culture. Becoming the woman God wants you to be. Issues about womanhood in East African culture. Work and finances. Most Somali Christians are refugees or people who live in economic straits. How might they work toward a stable economic future? How to deal with the stress of life. Keeping mentally healthy.
