Customer: A producer of assembly and test equipment for large-scale manufacturing

Requirement: Brilliant illumination of multiple work stations on large product testing machinery

Background: The company received a build order for several custom machines. Each machine has six workstations. T8 fluorescent light fixtures had been used to illuminate workstations in similar machines.

■ Time & Expense – To accommodate the T8 light fixtures, an AC circuit had to be installed on each DC-powered machine, increasing machine build times and expense

Solution: WLB32 industrial LED light bar

Performance: A single WLB32 LED light bar is more efficient at directing light with a more uniform distribution of light than fluorescent alternatives. In a direct comparison, a 570 mm long WLB32 on its dim setting outshined a two-foot dual bulb T8 fluorescent light.
