To ensure 2G, 3G, 4G coverage everywhere The AIR Repeater™ RF/RF Cellular family is designed to enhance outdoor coverage by cell extension as a cost-effective alternative to a BTS, and indoor coverage such as parking, conference rooms, shopping centers, tunnels, building with a DAS (Distributed Antenna System). This range of repeater is extremely modular, and can be equipped with the latest technology:

- Available in band- or channel-selective with the optional “Digital Smart Filter” that permits to treat up to 4 sub-bands

- “Advanced Insulation” algorithm, which permits to reduce up to 25 dB the constraints of insulation between RX & TX antennas

- Built in IP65 cabinet for wall- or mast-mounted indoor and outdoor installations

- Outdoor power available in medium or high power to optimize the link budget

Thanks to the gain limiter, the equipment is able to operate with mobile phones near or far from the repeater without risk of saturation. The low consumption of repeater allows the using of solar panels. Many options are listed:

- Embedded monitoring module with WEB/SNMP server for local access (Ethernet) and GPRS modem for remote access

- Cloud Monitoring with VisiOmc™ server - Power supply 230VAC or 48VDC - GFCI, Lightning Protection Class, Automatic restarter, etc…

Screen of Setting Software

Because the output power of a repeater is composite, the unwanted carriers have sometimes to be eliminated to use the complete dynamic of gain for the useful carriers. The Digital Smart Filter permits to select the carriers to repeat with a specific mask filter, easy to program thanks to the provided software.

Group delay = 4.5 µs

In case of low isolation between the RX and TX antennas, the echo signal from the TX antenna into the RX antenna causes the famous LARSEN effect. The result is the emergence of a ripple at the input of the repeater. If this ripple is too important, the dynamic of gain of the repeater is limited to avoid the destruction of the device. The Echo-Canceller algorithm permits to reduce up to 25 dB the constraints of isolation between RX & TX antennas, to use the repeater with its complete dynamic of gain. The Echo-Canceller option is available for UMTS and LTE modulations.
