older properties that have no cavity walls.

Solid Wall Internal Insulation

The latest advances in insulation technologyTo give your home the best results we use advanced new technologies, including Aerogel, which has extremely low thermal conductivity. Our specialised products are also manufactured with a calcium silicate facing board with a unique ‘breathable’ material on the facing layer to prevent moisture from building up and causing problems with damp and mould.

Above all, InstaLine panels are designed to offer optimum thermal mass – which simply means they work to keep your home at a comfortable temperature, whatever the weather is doing outside.

InstaLine’s efficiency and innovation sets the standards for upgrading insulation in solid wall housing. There are three different product choices and also three innovative BBA accredited Cold Bridge Solutions which are options designed to ensure that the InstaLine system is completely risk adverse. Laminates can incorporate Aerogel, PIR, Graphite EPS or Woodfibre.

A major advantage of these systems is that they can be mixed and matched to suit both customer budgets and practical needs. If appropriate, our surveyor can suggest a blend of both Internal and External Solid Wall solutions to achieve the results you want.

The installation processAll InstaLine installation teams use our patented fixing method, and are professionally trained and approved by InstaGroup to deliver ‘Best Practice’ via specialised instruction at the Insta Training Academy.

Our ongoing commitment ensures the highest levels of service and consideration for your home, so you can enjoy the benefits of insulation with the minimum of disruption.

Approved installer trainingThe Insta Training Academy is a fully functional training centre where potential network members must attend for a robust 4-day course that forms the first part of our approval assessment.

All aspects of both Internal and External Solid Wall insulation are covered, focusing on each stage of the process and highlighting critical junctions such as windows and ceiling lines.

A combination of classroom learning, coupled with hands-on application, builds a greater understanding of not just how but why we insulate solid wall properties.

The course is not accredited purely on attendance – it must be ‘passed’ before installers are certified to install our products.

We’ve built up a professionally accredited installation organisation across the UK called the Snug Network, with all members fully trained by us.

InstaLine NATURAL- A dry lining panel combining wood fibre insulation with calcium silicate boards- These materials both display a similar resistance to vapour and have hygroscopic (moisture absorption) properties- Ideal ‘Green’ choice and for use in older ‘stately’ homes and those with solid stone walls where the breathability of the existing building structure must be maintained

InstaLine AEROGEL SUPERSLIM- The thinnest and highest performing insulation panel available today

- Breathable – consists of a 9mm calcium silicate board laminated to Aerogel insulation

- Ideally suited when space is at a premium or where traditional systems are too thick to be used

- Retains maximum room area, so less on impact living standards and/or property rental value

- Available in two thicknesses, offering the freedom to design to maximum thermal standards whilst maintaining internal living space

InstaLine REVEALAt 16mm deep, the highest performing solution for dealing with cold bridging at window and door reveals. Can also be extended to create InstaLine RETURN for use on internal walls to alleviate cold bridging at these critical junctions.

InstaLine THERMO-JOIST Integrates vapour control and air tightness between floors by incorporating 10mm Aerogel. It has a simple flat pack assembly design which makes it quick and easy to install.

InstaLine THERMO-SOC Is a solution developed to control vapour and heat loss when electric sockets or switches are installed.

SWIGA is an independent guarantee agency that issues a 25-year guarantee that is essential under the Green Deal & ECO schemes.

The SWIGA Quality Framework ensures that all stages of the work, from survey to design and installation, is carried out by competent companies using skilled operatives, and that all work is guaranteed to meet the stringent high standards and requirements of an independent third-party quality control scheme.

The SWIGA Guarantee means:

• Installation by member installers using member certified systems

• Cover for 25 years for defective materials, design or workmanship

• Covers up to £20,000 remedial work and specified fabric damage costs

• Installers subject to independent third party observation and scrutiny of workmanship
