Technically, a partly written partly printed matter item. Document is folded in two to save space. Very scarce. $40.00 SOLD

Item 287-28 – Re-used envelope during great depression – 1933, 1¢ Admiral, 2¢ Arch (2) tied by grid cancel from Comming Man (1932-46) underpaying 7¢ triple rate to Teulon. 4¢ postage due stamp tied by Teulon cds. Back fault. Originally and presumably from Rathwell Manitoba to Comming. Reverse with backstamps from first use April 1933 and backstamps from second use in August 1933. $30.00

Item 287-34–1¢ War Tax imposed April 1 – 1943, 4¢ Mufti tied by Normandin Que duplex cancel on cover (probably of philatelic origin) paying 4¢ letter rate to Quebec on the first day of the new 4¢ domestic rate (Additional 1¢ war tax reimposed affecting the first oz rate only). The 4¢ War issue (KGVI) was issued on April 9 1943 and 4¢ Grain Elevators was issued April 1, 1942. $25.00 SOLD
