Since the ATTREX mission inearly 2013 SSFR successfully participated in the 2013 SEAC4RS mission • 20 DC-8 science flights• Instrument returned in good

shape• Post-mission calibration to be

performed soon

Since the ATTREX mission inearly 2013 requests been made to modify SSFR light collector and CG4 mounting to nadir fairing• Currently major undertaking to

remove/install fairing to access light collector and CG4 especially for field calibration

• Reduce risk to AWAS inlet and line mounted to same fairing

Fairing removed for SSFR cal
