Boris Konovalov Biography
“Boris Konovalov is a wonderful, sensitive, and interesting musician, a pianist with something special to say” Peter Feuchtwanger, Vice President of European Piano Teachers Association (UK) Distinguished pianist – virtuoso Boris Konovalov is a representative of the great Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory school of Professor Vera Gornostaeva, former pupil of Genrich Neighouse, the teacher of Emil Gillels and Svyatoslav Richter, who are the proponents of the famous Russian traditions in piano technique. “Boris Konovalov is an extraordinary pianist with constant vigour of self perfection” Arnold Katz, Conductor, People’s Artist of Russia After winning the First Prize in the All - Russia Piano Competition, Boris Konovalov started his career as an international concert pianist, performing with numerous Symphony Orchestras, solo recitals, giving Master classes, and adjudicating on various Music Festivals and Competitions. “Boris Konovalov had a recital that placed him among the most brilliant pianists.
