David Graux, born in Besancon, France in 1970, began oil painting at the age of 18.
Starting from imitating the works of his favorite painters, such as Salvador Dali, Gustav Klimt, Schiller, etc., he created the contrast between figu-ral and abstract in his works to have a poetic style.
He is good at presenting beautiful, desirable curves and emotions through female body. He said that his painting is inspired by his soul, his heart, and thus is a part of his body. As creation is a long process that is not so easy to accomplish, being able to complete a new painting always makes him happy.
