Drivers Ed. Simulation

• A test of a motor vehicle's operating capability under road conditions.

• A test of driving ability on the road required of a person/student for a driver's license/permit.

• Goal is to teach students/persons the rules of the road, and how to drive.

Use/Value and Purchasing

• Simulators will increase the number of students choosing to get their permits, which will lead to safer drivers on the road.

• The value of the simulators is for students to practice on streets, and highways through graphics.

• To purchase an simulator can range from hundreds used to thousands. But very useful and helpful for drivers in training.

• Improvements: Games like who uses turn signals, brakes at the right times. Distraction options (friends in the car).

• Safe method to learn and practice driving skills.

• Practicing parallel parking, passing, lane changing, highway merging.

• Practicing backing up with.

• This software is really good for those students and people who are intimidated of the road, this will give them extra confidence.

CPR Equipment:Manikin and Defibrillator

- CPR or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a manual method to keep the heart pumping in an emergency situation.

- CPR is a good method to perform on some who has drowned, had a heart attack, or who has passed out, etc.

- Manikins are rubber dolls used to practice techniques of CPR.

- Students will get a hands on approach of how to deal with and handle a person who is in need by using manikins in the classroom.

- A defibrillator is a machine used to shock the victim's heart and restore the heart's normal rhythm patterns. When a defibrillator is used, it in effect kicks the heart into action again, causing it to continue sending blood throughout the body.

- Very useful to display for and inform kids in the classroom.

Heart Rate Monitor

• A heart rate monitor is a personal monitoring device which allows one to measure his heart rate in real time or record the heart rate. It’s used by performers of all types of exercise.

• This is good equipment for students to monitor their heart rates during the mile run at the end of the school year like I had to perform for a final grade.

Value/Use and Purchasing

• If schools require students to purchased this particular monitor which costs $8.00 in there local Walmart or online, this will help students to monitor their own heart rates.

• No stopping and checking once a student purchases a heart monitor.

Exercise Equipment: Stationary Bike

• A bike that’s designed to be ridden in place.

• It only has a single wheel in the front, but provides the same results.

• Movable arms help provide a total-body workout.

• Soft seats and pedal straps increase comfort and stability.

• The Bike helps increase cardiovascular health and increase blood flow to the body.
