a match between a caring adult and a child 6-18 years of age, in need of a mentor a volunteer mentor is a friendly, concerned, mature, stable adult 18 years or older a mentor and child spend time together weekly, participating in mutually agreed upon activities

during the school year the In-School mentor spends one hour per week during the school day doing fun activities of mutual interest with the youth in need of a mentor

GO GIRLS! HEALTHY BODIES, HEALTHY MINDS a mentoring program designed to encourage

participation in physical activity, healthy eating choices, and the development of a positive self-image, among girls aged 11 to 14 seven sessions led by women mentors aged 18-25 incorporates fun educational games and activities to stimulate relationship-building between the mentors and girls, and self-reflection and group discussions about healthy living and emotional, social and cultural issues

up to the age of six and their parents and caregivers to take part in programs and activities together.

The Niagara Falls Ontario Early Years Centre also brings together in one location information about children's services and programs in the community.

municipalities. The DSBN also warmly welcomes students from across the globe. Their schools serve students from 38 different countries speaking 40different languages.
