Sociology – the study of how people act within a society-how society affects people. The study of society itself. Examines group behaviour

What is a Social Institute?

Social Institute – an organized way that a society develops to meet its basic needs.

Example – Government, School, Healthcare, Church/places of worship, Prison systems
