A HEALTHY SELF-ESTEEM IS IMPORTANT IN DEVELOPING A GOOD RELATIONSHIP. IT ALLOWS FOR A DEEPER CONNECTION WITH OTHERS.

SELF ESTEEM- OPINION PEOPLE HAVE OF THEMSELVES. FOCUS ON POSITIVE ASPECTS OF YOURSELF, AND REPLACE NEGATIVE SELF-TALK WITH SUPPORTIVE SELF-TALK.

FRIENDSHIPS:SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE BASED ON TRUST, CARING AND CONSIDERATION.

4 TYPES OF FRIENDSHIPS:1. CASUAL –SHARE INTERESTS BUT NOT A DEEP EMOTIONAL TIE.

2. CLOSE-OFFER SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT.

3. PLATONIC-FRIENDSHIP WITH A MEMBER OF THE OPPOSITE SEX.

4. ONLINE-THESE CAN BE DANGEROUS, WHY? (CYBER-BULLYING)

SMALL CIRCLE OF FRIENDS, USUALLY WITH SIMILAR BACKGROUNDS OR TASTES WHO EXCLUDE PEOPLE VIEWED AS OUTSIDERS.
