Safety Tracker was written for the Mining Industry in conjunction with mining personnel and safety inspectors, this inspection tool reduces Underground time required to physically inspect and report on SCSR’s and other customer defined equipment. Built upon standard SQL and Microsoft Windows platform enable the Safety Tracker Software to easily integrate with customer’s existing systems; however the system is fully contained and can run as a standalone application.

Equipment Item: All serialized inventoried equipment items.

Inspection Template: Detailed inspection scripts for use on the handheld for all equipment types.

Location: Physical storage locations for located inventory and safety equipment

Employee: Personal performing inspections or in possession of PPE being tracked.

Reporting ID: Enter Corporate MSHA reporting Identification Number

Company Name: Legal Corp Name

Company Address: Address (up to three lines), City, State and Zip

Phone & Fax: Enter appropriate numbers.

Contact Name: Company Level Contact – Leave blank until Employees are created .

COMPANY: The Company is the highest level of Reporting in Safety Tracker – Equivalent to your corporate structure.

Reporting ID: Enter The Sites MSHA Reporting ID

Company Name: Legal Site Name

Company Address: Address (up to three lines), City, State and Zip

Phone & Fax: Enter appropriate numbers.

Contact Name: Company Level Contact – Leave blank until Employees are created .

SITE: This level designates the site or Mine level reporting.

Site: Enter Locations Site

Location Code: Enter “Short” name for physical storage location.

Description: Enter descriptive name to clearly identify the Location Code (above)

Comments: Enter any comments .

LOCATIONS: Physical Storage locations are setup using this function Locations store the serialized inventory and are used to perform auto-inspections by location.

Name:/Classification: Enter Equipment Identification Code.

Description: Enter Descriptive Name to clearly identify Equipment Type Name (above).

Registered Site (s): Select all sites where this equipment type is utilized. – Only registered sites will show in this box.

EQUIPMENT TYPE: Physical Storage locations are setup using this function Locations store the serialized inventory and are used to perform auto-inspections by location.

EQUIPMENT ITEM: This function is used to setup all of the serialized inventory for a specific location. * Note: The Import Wizard may also be used to import all existing inventory.

Serial Number: Enter the item’s Serial Number

Equipment Type: Select Equipment Type.

Location: Select Physical Storage location

Date of Manufacture: Enter Date of Mfg.

In-Service: Enter Date entered into inventory

Removed Date: Enter Date removed from Inventory

Inspection Date: Enter Last Inspection Date

Expiration Date: Enter Expiration Date

The Import Wizard walks through the steps necessary to map to your existing physical inventory of serialized equipment items. The system will then populate the serialized inventory in the SQL database for use with “Safety Tracker”.
