Smoke Control & Fire DampersThis one day course outlines how AS/NZS 1668.1 applies the principles of smoke control in multi-compartment buildings.
The course examines the specification, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire and smoke dampers, and provides the information required to determine the proper parameters for selection, installation, commissioning and essential maintenance of fire dampers and smoke dampers in use in buildings.

Brett is a member of Standards Australia’s ME-062 subcommittees responsible for Standards on fire and smoke control, mechanical ventilation in buildings and natural ventilation of buildings. He has represented local engineering practices since the 1990s and now runs a mechanical services consultancy to support other practitioners throughout the industry.

Payment
Cancellation and refund policyRegistration may be cancelled up to five working days prior to commencement of the course with participants either transferring to another course/event or receiving a refund less a 20% administration fee. No refund will be given where cancellation is 24 hours or less. In all other cases of cancellation the extent of any refund will be at the discretion of AIRAH. You may substitute another participant at any time prior to the event date should the nominated person be unable to attend. Where a non-member replaces a member the difference between member and non-member rates will be charged. Requests for refund can be made by email to [email protected].
