BUSINESS CASEVariation in the small spinning buffing machine set-up process and the subsequent troubleshooting that often follows are two problems that if not remedied, could lead to bad quality, safety issue running the machine, unplanned machine downtime. This event will allow us to produce greater volume and variety of parts with reduced lead time - driving supply in-line with customer demand.
TARGET Reduce overall changeover time below 10 minutes Process parameters to be developed for all parts produced in Cell 4
