Huawei SmartAX MA5621 products are the industry's first Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) devices

designed for power grids,which supports natural heat dissipation and provides 2*GE/2*GPON

MA5621 series products can be installed in various scenarios, such as on the desk, in the corridor, or

• Comprehensive PON protection: The MA5621 series products support both type B and type D protection. An MA5621 is

connected to two OLTs through two PON ports, forming a hand-in-hand network against multi-point failures.

• Support for the working temperature ranging from -40°C to 85°C, meeting extreme weather conditions.

The MA5621 is used for remote collection and transmission of power system information. In the up-stream direction, an MA5621

is connected to two Optical Line Terminals (OLTs) through two Passive Optical Network (PON) ports for network protection. In the

down-stream direction, it is connected to the Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), Feeder Terminal Unit (FTU), and Transformer Terminal

Unit (TTU) through the FE and serial ports.

The MA5621A is used for the centralized collection of power system electrical meter data. In the upstream direction, the MA5621A

is connected to the OLT through the PON port, while in the downstream direction, it is connected to the concentrator or intelligent

electrical meter through the FE or RS485 serial port.
