WHAT IS A SMART HOME?A Smart Home is a home with all or some of its electrical components connected to one central control system often referred to as a “Hub”. For example, lighting, air conditioning, security and entertainment systems connect to the Hub. Every-thing that is connected to the Hub can then be controlled by a range of devices, like smart phones, smart watches, tablets, touch screens, dedicated remotes and traditional style light switches.

Having this central control system means many functions can be tied to one command or action. One button could turn off all your lights and appliances (like the TV and air conditioner), arm the security system and lock the front door as you leave.

Smart homes are a technology based lifestyle solution that will allow you to customise, personalise and interact with your home in ways that have, until now, been unachievable.

For a truly smart home, by giving the Hub additional information about your home environment with sensors (like thermometers, motion sensors, window and door sensors) you can also have your home automatically perform actions for you based on one or multiple criteria.

What could this look like in your home? The same button you have used all day to turn on your bathroom lights, now only turns them on to 25% brightness, because it’s after 10pm and your home knows not to jolt you awake with your usual bright lights. Now that’s smart!

Our integrated lighting solutions give you control over your whole home, an entire floor, a room, or an individual light. Smart lighting is both beautiful and energy efficient. Listen to what you want, watch what you want, wherever you want. Some of the content we regularly integrate includes Free to air TV, Foxtel, Netflix, Stan, Fetch, Apple TV Blu Ray, DVD, Plex, Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Tidal and your own personal library.

Say goodbye to the frustrating days of four remotes (one of which is always missing!), taking five minutes to turn everything on, and then wondering why it isn’t working.

On one single remote or touchscreen you can press TV to watch TV, Netflix to watch Netflix, Foxtel to watch Foxtel and so on.

SAFETY & SECURITY

In a Smart Home, securing your home is simple.

One button can turn off all the lights, lock the front door, turn off unused air conditioners and arm the security system.

INTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEMS

Security is taken to a whole new level in a Smart Home. When an alarm is triggered, not only does the siren sound, but all lights come on and you get an immediate notifica-tion on your phone.

You can then look at your cameras to see what’s happening and decide what to do. If it’s a false alarm, you can turn the alarm off from your phone. If help is needed, you’ve wasted no time.

INTERCOM

By incorporating CCTV and security solutions into your Smart Home you can monitor and record exactly what is happening around your home.

As well as checking in on your home TVs, you can view your cameras from your smart phone or tablet from anywhere in the world.

We use only high definition, night vision cameras so you always have clear vision.

With a Hi-Def video intercom system, you’ll never miss another delivery. When your couri-er rings the bell, your intercom calls your phone or touchscreen and you can see exactly who’s there and unlock the door for them or ask them to leave your parcel outside, even if you’re not home.

For added security, you can view what’s happening at your front door at any time, even if the button hasn’t been pressed.

Thieves are known to press intercoms to see if anyone is home. Your video intercom takes a nice little mugshot of any would be burglars.

Forget keys, with a keyless access solution simply enter your code, swipe your keyfob or scan your fingerprint to unlock your door and turn on your home.

For visitors and tradesmen, you can easily assign a temporary code to work for a speci-fied period, perfect for Air BnB and holiday homes.
