Non-invasive methods comprises of multiple sensors to measure vital parameters of the part of the trees – roots, trunk and crown. Each sensors sends data to application platform for the purpose of monitoring, analysis and prediction to decide on next course of action in studying the roots.
• Sensor to monitor crown (leaves, branches) – air temperature, air humidity and CO2 level. These parameters are essential and contributed to the growth and health level of the roots. Reading is sent to application platform for analytics and actions and to mobile apps for viewing and monitoring.
• Sensor to monitor trunk – gyro sensor to monitor whether the tree is tilted. If the tree is tilted it could indicate that the roots maybe up-rooted. Notification is sent to application platform and mobile apps if tree is tilted.
