switchgear ageingwithstand in an MVsubstation depends on 3main factors

H The need for properimplementation of connections:the new cold slip---on andretractable technologies offer easeof installation, thereby promotingwithstand over time.Their design enables operation inpolluted environments with harshatmospheres.

H The influence of the relativehumidity factor:installation of heating resistors isessential in climates with highrelative humidity and largetemperature differences.

H Ventilation control:the grids must be sized accordingto power loss in the substation. These grids must only be placednear the transformer, so as toprevent air circulating on the MVswitchboard.

operation Our service centre is at yourdisposal at all times:H To conduct an installationdiagnosis.H To suggest the appropriatemaintenance operations.H To offer you maintenancecontracts.H To suggest adaptations.

preventivemaintenance, cleaninginstructions andpower---upIf necessary: contact theSchneider Electric group servicecentre.

We strongly recommend that youcarry out at regular intervals (atleast roughly every 2 years) a fewoperating cycles on theswitching devices.

CAUTIONNever lubricate the disconnectoroperating mechanism. If necessary: contact theSchneider Electric group servicecentre. In normal operatingconditions (temperature between--- 5°C and 40° C) no specialmaintenance is required.

CAUTION

example :

Never use solvents and alcohol. We recommend that you inspecteach compartment (cable, fuse, busbar)* at regular intervalsaccording to environmentalconditions.

If the insulating parts are dusty, that you remove the dust using adry cloth.

In harsher conditions(aggressive atmosphere, dust, temperature less than --- 5° Cor greater than 40° C) consultthe nearest Schneider Electricservice centre.
