    Very quickly the photograph became labeled asThe Marlboro Marine, which is quite a title to

    give a picture. It created a lot of conversation,was published widely, but its not an accuraterepresentation of the real story. James is ahuman being who as tough and macho as helooks is dealing with incredibly severe post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from what heexperienced in Iraq.

    Read the chapter from Photojournalism on portraits(electronic reserve)

    Shoot another portrait assignment. You can find a newsubject if you like or reshoot the same person you usedbefore.

    Must have three distinct pictures, either in framing or setting.

    Submit three distinct pictures of your subject by 11 pmThursday before next class (March 28).

    Make sure pictures are in focus and well composed.
