The BDK Wireline Valve is available as either Hydraulic models
with Single or Dual Ram optionsor Single Ram Manual models.
Provision is made on all Hydraulic models to manually close
therams. Hydraulic models are recommended when frequent use is
anticipated or where safetyconcerns dictate remote operation.
Features on BDK Wireline Valves :-
Rugged forged mono-block style bodies rated for 10,000 psi
working pressure, H2S Service
External vent holes provided with check valves to prevent
ingress of foreign matter.
All Polymer Vee Packing Stack, improves service life.
Rugged, flush mounting Equalising Valve with Positive
Communication Tube seal
arrangement allowing equalisation of pressure above and below
the rams.
Quick Union connections with integral bolt on Flanged
connections for ease of
interchangeability.
Guide Rods are supplied as standard which facilitate Ram Seal
inspections and inversion
of Rams on the Dual Ram Models eliminating manual lifting.
Flush mounting Injection Port provided on Dual Ram models.
Indicator Rods to show Ram positions. Manual activation on
Hydraulic models via a Non-Rising Stem carried in bronze bushes
and thrust bearings. The unit is held in place by a Quick Union
style connection, providing
for quick and efficient assembly. Provision is made for
lubricating the drive shaft and
careful attention to detail has eliminated rotating shafts
passing through critical seals.
Inner and Outer Ram Seals are interchangeable with most leading
manufacturers.
All BDK Wireline Valves comply with API 6A PSL3, SI 1996/913 and
NACE MR-01-75 for Sour(H2S) Service and are supplied complete with
Certified Lifting Cap.
