Day - 01: Srinagar – Gulmarg: - 60 Kms – One Way8700 ft.

Gulmarg, also called the “Meadow of Flowers” is 60 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. It is famous for it’s Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. Enjoy thescenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Ride and spend the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Spend the full day skiing in Gulmarg. The skiing season in Gulmarg usually commences before Christmas (around mid-December) and continues till around mid-March. In January-February, 1998, the first National Winter Games of India were held at Gulmarg, for which the facilities were enormously improved and upgraded. The resort acquired two Kasse Bohrer snow beating machines used for preparing skiing slopes, and five snowmobiles, which can be made available for going up the mountain. Good quality equipment, including skis, boots, sticks, gloves and goggles are available on hire on the spot from the Government-run ski shop. There are also trained instructors available for guiding the tourists. Gulmarg is ideally suited for learning skiing, as it is probably the cheapest ski resort in the world. After an early breakfast, get yourself booted with ski equipment & get set for your basic ski runs of a 350 mtrs or 800 mtrs long ski slope. Use the ski lifts to go up & continue skiing down on the slopes. In case you are an expert, you can opt to do a cross country run, using a cable Car (Gondola) for one way. In the case of a beginner, ski classes with expert ski instructors or local ski guides in Gulmarg will be available at the ski shop. Continue skiing after lunch till upto 4pm post which you can return to your hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

DAY-04: Gulmarg

Spend the full day skiing in Gulmarg. Gulmarg is the perfect skiing destination for many adventure seekers. The slopes vary from 8,700 ft to 10,500 ft. One remarkable fact about Gulmarg is that it is the only heli-skiing resort in Asia. Golf, at the world’s highest 18 hole golf course is enjoyed as a relaxing activity by many visitors who obtain a short-term membership at the Golf Club. Gulmarg is also the place for enjoying long beautiful walks through woods and green hills. You can also check out Nanga Parbat and Haramukh and also choose to experience a pony ride. Spend the night at the hotel.

DAY-05 : Gulmarg

Spend all day skiing on the slopes of Gulmarg. Have a scenic dinner & stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY-06 : Gulmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer from Gulmarg to Srinagar. On arrival at Srinagar, check in to the hotel. Later visit Mughal Gardens "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All) and drive along the lake side on Boulevard. On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls and jewelry ornaments. Enjoy a boat ride on the Dal Lake by a gondola boat called ”shikara” & experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Also experience the scenic extravaganza and enjoy the profusion of colors in Kashmir, also known as Paradise on Earth. On the way back, visit the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from paper machie & wood of a walnut. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure and have a lovely dinner & overnight stay in Srinagar.

DAY-07 : Srinagar - Delhi

After an early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Srinagar International Airport to connect to your onward flight.
