Deer Valley Nordic ski trails have over 20 kilometers (12.5 miles) of groomed cross-
country ski trails. Ski Trail’s are groomed by the US Forest Service from mid December to
mid April depending on snow conditions. These trails are on Forest Service lands and
offer wintertime loop options. Trails are relatively flat with fabulous views of Navajo
Lake, majestic firs, spruces, pines and wildlife.
Directions: From the intersection of Main street and Center Street in Cedar City go east on Highway 14 for 22.8 miles. On the right
(south) side of Highway 14 there is a parking area for the Deer Valley Nordic ski trails. (Located right at the Iron County/ Kane
County line.)
Skate/Classic Ski Trails, are groomed to accommodate skate skiing and Classic skiing. Our Skate/Classic ski trails are
approximately 16-feet wide with Classic ski tracks on one side and the remaining area
groomed to a corduroy finish.
