Discussion:

Dr. G P Chandradhara, Professor and Head, Dept of Construction Technology and Management justified the equipment and learning resources proposed for their department . The committee members suggested to procure the equipments – Pundit Non Destructive testing Device and Loading frame with instrumentation later on if the funds are available. The committee members approved to procure the learning resource (Geo studio universal 2018) and equipments shown in Sl. No. 1 to 4 in the above table.

For Department of Information Science and Engineering the committee approved to establish data science and machine learning laboratory.

For the departments of Mechanical Engg and Industrial and Production Engineering the committee approved to procure the coordinate measuring machine with Calypso software and tools and gages. The committee also approved to establish product design and validation and advanced manufacturing lab.

The committee approved to establish E- learning Centre (Smart studio) at SJCE. However the committee suggested to prepare a detailed project report showing cost benefit analysis, likely beneficiaries and usage.

The committee also approved for procurement of 10 Nos of LCD projectors for classrooms of different departments. The committee suggested to procure latest technology LCD projectors even though the cost increases by 10-15%.
