EXCLUSIONS AND RESTRICTIONSThisWarrantywillbevoid,andLutronanditssupplierswillhavenoresponsibilityunderthisWarranty,ifLutronoritsrepresentativescannotaccessanycomponentsoftheSystemtoinspect,diagnoseprob-lemswithorrepairtheSystemoranyofitscomponentsasaresultofconcealmentorinaccessibilityofsuchcomponentswithinabuildingstructure.

ThisWarrantydoesnotcover,andLutronanditssuppliersarenotresponsiblefor:

1.Damage,malfunctionorinoperabilitydiagnosedbyLutronoraLutronapprovedthirdpartyascausedbynormalwearandtear,abuse,misuse,incorrectinstallation,neglect,accident,interferenceorenvironmentalfactors,suchas(a)useofincorrectlinevoltagesfusesorcircuitbreakers;(b)failuretoinstall,maintainandoperatetheSystempursuanttotheoperatinginstructionsprovidedbyLutronandtheapplicableprovisionsoftheNationalElectricalCodeandoftheSafetyStandardsofUnderwriter’sLaboratories;(c)useofincompat-ibledevicesoraccessories;(d)improperorinsufficientventilation;(e)unauthorizedrepairsoradjustmentsoralterations;(f)vandalism;(g)anactofGod,suchasfire,lightning,flooding,tornado,earthquake,

hurricaneorotherproblemsbeyondLutron’scontrol;or(h)directexposuretocorrosivematerials.

2.On-sitelaborcoststodiagnoseissueswith,andremove,repair,replace,adjust,reinstalland/orreprogramtheSystemoranyofitscomponents.

3.ComponentsandequipmentexternaltotheSystem,suchas,non-Lutronlightingandautomationsystems;buildingwiringaudio-visualequipment;andnon-Lutrontimeclocks,photosensorsandmotiondetectors.

4.ThecostofrepairingorreplacingotherpropertythatisdamagedwhenanySystemdoesnotworkproperly,evenifthedamagewascausedbytheSystem.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRAN-TIES. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO EIGHT YEARS FROM THE DATE OF SHIPMENT, EXCEPT THAT SUCH IMPLIED WAR-RANTIES ARE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF SHIP-MENT AS TO THE EXTERNAL Sivoia QS COMPONENTS.
