It has alsospecialized in the creation of turnkey public bathroomsand changing rooms complete with furnishings andequipped modular walls in HPL or tempered glass.

Organizing space adequately means separating premises in the mostrational way. Such separation is traditionally carried out either in brickworkor in plasterboard. SOEMA has solved this problem by devising andplanning pre-fabricated modular partitions.

Products are also requiredto be easy to clean, compliant withsanitary standards and availablein a wide range of colours in orderto suit any type of place.To meet the above needs in the bestway, SOEMA has come up withSIPARIO, a new range of doorsin stratificato HPL which can becombined with boxes, lockers,benches, etc.The doors of this line are madeof 14mm-thick HPL laminate andsilver-coloured anodized aluminium.The product resulting from theprocessing of such materialscontributes to embellish any typeof place enhancing functionalityand design.

SIPARIOThe doors are endowed witha silver-coloured section barin anodized aluminium adaptable toany wall thickness (with a minimumof 80 mm).The door panel is made of 14mm-thick solid stratificato laminate. It isscratch-proof with coloured outerfinish and inner black kraft.

The hinges in anodized aluminiumas well as the hardware are devisedand manufactured by SOEMA.

The sizes of the openings refer to the finished wall complete with the false frame witha tolerance of +/-10mm. INSPECTIONABLEPARTITIONSDifferently from Cavedio, it is notpossible to walk through theINSPECTIONABLE PARTITIONin HPL laminate. To carry outmaintenance, however, theinstallations can be easily reachedby removing the panels placed onthe back of the boxes fitted withspecial hooks.

In projects of bathrooms, plumbingand electric installations are usuallyto be walled by plumbers andelectricians.Soema has developed an innovativesystem for placing them outsidethe partitions thus making theirinstallation and maintenanceremarkably easier. SOEMA alwaysprovides its customers with allnecessary technical details forpre-arranging water, electricityand drain connection points.The equipped partitions can becarried out in two different waysaccording to the space available:cavedio (minimum width: 50/60 cm)and inspectionable partition(width: 30 cm).

PARTITIONSSOEMA partitions have been carefullyplanned and carried out in order toobtain a product with unique featuresand enhanced quality standards.Numerous innovative options havebeen devised to create and dividespecific areas intended for bathroomsand changing rooms where hygiene ismatched by a high aesthetic value.(The partitions are also available in thetempered glass version of the lineColour Glass. Please see catalogue“Hygiene and Design”).

Why a partition?One of the greatest strengthsof SOEMA partitions lies on thefact that they are not only easy toassemble, aesthetically pleasantand functional but that they alsoallow easy access to theinstallations. On the contrary,brick or concrete structures areparticularly difficult to be removedwhen a damage needs to bedetected, they occupy morespace and have to be integratedwith some other types offurnishings.The main advantages of SOEMApartitions, therefore, are thefollowing:

• Partitions in stratificato HPLlaminate, which is smooth, notporous, scratch-proof, easy toclean, perfectly hygienic, resistantto high temperatures andvandalism (blows, felt pen marks,burns or spots of cigarettes).

• Best use of space due to theremarkably reduced thicknessof the partitions (just 14mm)whose sturdiness is similar tothat of ordinary brick walls.

• Reduced installation time.Once the premises are ready,the partitions are assembled in avery short time without producingunwanted materials.

• Structure resting on aluminiumfeet to maintain a clean floorsurface.

SCENAThe line SCENA is a high-levelproduction resulting from specialattention paid to details andessential shapes. Its smoothsurfaces without protruding partsare easy to clean and extremelypractical.The partitions of this product lineare made of 14mm-thick stratificatoHPL laminate with smoothed edgesand rounded angles. The doors are endowed with anti-rubbing bushes in plastic materialand self-closing hinges in anodizedaluminium.The elliptic stainless steel lockis inserted in the door thicknesswithout outriggers and is fittedwith a free/engaged indicationdevice as well as an emergencyopening system.Along the upper side of eachpartition, a section bar in anodizedaluminium called “chain” holds thewhole structure together.The partitions are connected tothe existing walls through flangesin aluminium fitted with a specialsystem for squaring them.The partition modules rest upon legsin anodized aluminium lifting them150 mm from the floor. A stud insilver plastic covers the lower part ofeach foot which is fixed to the floorthrough an adjusting screw and astainless steel flange inserted within.

The partitions GALLERIA are madeof 14mm-thick stratificato HPLlaminate with smoothed edgesand rounded angles. They are assembled through sectionbars in anodized aluminium (alloy T60/60) where ledges including bothanti-theft gaskets and hinges areplaced.The self-closing aluminium hingesare adjustable and fitted with anti-rubbing bushes in plastic materialand shock absorbers. The plastic lock is equipped with afree/engaged indication device andan emergency opening system.Each partition module is fixed to thefloor (at a distance of 200 mm fromit) by a leg adjustable in heightcovered by a cylindrical plastic stud. Along the upper side of eachpartition, an aluminium section barcalled “chain” and fixed to the jambsholds the whole structure together.

BATHROOMTOPS INACRIALAcrial is a an advanced compositematerial consisting of naturalminerals and acrylic polymers.It is homogeneous, not porousthroughout its thickness andcoloured in its whole mass.Due to the fact that it is flexible,available in a wide range of coloursand pleasing to the touch, it ispossible to reach some practicalaesthetic results which cannotbe normally obtained with morecommon materials such as wood,marble, polyester, etc. Moreover, thanks to its resistanceto spots, scratches and mildews,it is particularly easy to clean andmaintain. Acrial is an inert, non-toxic,hypoallergenic material.It has fire-retardant properties: it isincluded in class F1 (DIN 53 438)and it does not emit toxic fumesin case of fire. All surfaces in acrialcan be brought back to their originalconditions by simply using adetergent and an abrasive sponge.This means that it is possible toremove even cigarettes burns.Such properties make acrialparticularly recommended for publicplaces as well as for operatingrooms and intensive care units.

LOCKERS ANDBENCHESThe line of Lockers and Benches canbe used wherever space needs to beorganized in a practical dynamic way.Exactly like the other SOEMA products,this line has been created in compliancewith accident prevention rules as well aswith standards of beauty, usefulnessand comfort. The state-of-the-artmaterials used for the manufacturing ofLockers and Benches, whose smoothscratch-proof surfaces are extremelyeasy to clean, are a guarantee ofperfect hygiene. The line of SOEMALockers and Benches offers a widerange of possibilities of furnishingsin order to comply with customers’tastes and requirements.

LockersSINFONIA, INFINITOParticularly useful for changing roomsof sports centres and factories, SOEMALockers are available in a wide range ofmodels and colours to suit customers’needs. Different options of this productline have been devised in order tooptimize space: with flat or slopinghood, with clean/dirty compartments,with forced air suction system (ventedlockers) and with different types ofinside compartments. The lockers aremade of scratch-proof stratificato HPLlaminate panels with coloured outsidedecorative finishing and black insidekraft. They are endowed with smoothededges and rounded angles. The doorsof the Lockers are equipped with slits toensure adequate airflow and/or outflowof liquids used for washing. The lockersof the standard version rest either on100mm-long legs or on 200mm-longlegs. It is possible, however, to requestthem either with a support benchreplacing the legs or with no support atall in order to place them on an existingpre-arranged base. The doors of theLockers can be equipped with slits toallow maximum airflow and forced airsuction on the bottom of the locker.

BenchesCavea-A, Cavea-D, Cavea-HJust like the Lockers, the Benches areideal for changing rooms of sportscentres and factories where functionalsturdy equipment with a high aestheticvalue is required. The materials used bySOEMA are remarkably resistant and donot require maintenance of any type.This makes the production extremelydurable. The Benches can becoordinated with lockers and partitionsof matching colour and designaccording to the customers’ tastesand requirements.

INFINITOThe series of lockers INFINITOhas been devised to furnish andembellish changing rooms by payingspecial attention to design andelegant style. The possibility ofassembling the columns one afterthe other makes it easier and fasterto mount the lockers inside thechanging room. The materialsadopted - stainless steel for thesupport framework , anodizedaluminum for the section bars andthe hardware and panels in HPL forthe framework and the doors - makethis locker a very high-qualityproduct. The locker frame consistsof solid section bars in anodizedaluminium alloy T60/60 with whichthe back and side panels areassembled. The fixed tiers betweenone door and the other are insertedin the section bars of the frame.The height of the legs in aluminiumis of 100 or 200 mm; in the versionin AISI 304 stainless steel their heightis of 200 mm with basement andbracket. The structure is fitted withdoor slits to allow the penetration ofair and/or the coming out of liquidsused for washing. The doors aremade of 8-mm thick stratificato HPLand can be opened up to 180°.The number of each door is laserprinted on stainless steel plates.The ledge profiles are equipped withrubber gaskets throughout the lengthof each door acting as shockabsorbers. The lockers can bearranged either in sets of 1/2/3columns or in one single solutionwithout any interruption (modularsystem to be installed directly on thespot). The air penetrates the doorslits and circulates inside the lockersince it is sucked by the underlyingchannel. A column making part of thesuction system channels bad airoutside.

VENTED LOCKERSThis optional version features aspecial air circulation system aimedat eliminating bad smells producedfrom the clothes placed inside thelocker. The different componentsare assembled through black jointsin glass fibre reinforced nylon 6 soas to make the locker more stableand compact.The hinges, which have beenspecifically devised for this type ofitems, make the door rotate 180°thus making access to the lockerextremely easy.The legs are in anodized aluminium.The standard type of lock is fittedwith a key and can be opened witha master key.Each Locker is fitted with an outernumber plate and an inner accidentprevention lock guard.

CAVEA-DBenches Cavea-D consist of slats instratificato HPL laminate inserted inhollowed aluminium staves.The whole structure is held togetherby specially devised joints in nylonreinforced by fibreglass with a steelinsert in the inside.The legs are adjustable in height inorder to adapt the benches to anyimperfection of the floor. The clotheshooks are in satinized steel.

CAVEA-ACavea-A is a new type of benchescreated with innovative materialsand state-of-the-art design.The seat, the back and - if required -the hat rack are derived from onesingle plate of hot-shapedstratificato HPL. The shape of theplate is anatomic without sharpedges so as to make disinfectioneasier. The suspended bench issupported by sturdy brackets inmicro shot-peened stainless steelhooked on the wall. This makes itpossible to clean the floor easily.The clothes hooks in opaque microshot-peened 304 stainless steelhave been planned and created bySOEMA. Benches Cavea-A can becombined with bathroom tops inHPL of the same design, finishingand colour in order to obtain aharmonious combination offurnishings.

SINGLE-DOORBOXESUnlike double-door boxes, single-door boxes are equipped with onesingle door having a stainless steellock fitted with a free/engagedindication device and an emergencyopening system.Like double-door cabins, the cabinsof this type offer a comfortable placefor getting changed while thetechnical features relating to theirmaterials are the same as those ofthe line of partitions GALLERIA. The boxes are assembled incontinuous modules separated bypartitions, supported by section barsin anodized aluminium andsuspended at a distance of 200mmfrom the floor. The inside bench - which is suppliedexclusively on customers’ request -can be chosen among the differenttypes of benches of models Cavea-Hand Cavea-D.

DOUBLE-DOORBOXESSOEMA double-door boxes - whoseinstallation does not require anybrickwork - are the perfect solutionfor separating the area coveredbarefoot and the area trodden withone’s shoes of swimming centres.The technical features of thematerials used for the productionof double-door cabins are the sameas those of the line of partitionsGALLERIA. Double-door boxes arequite similar to traditional ones butthey are not leaning against the walland are equipped with doors onboth entrance and exit sides.The boxes, which are assembledin continuous modules andsuspended at a distance of 430mmfrom the floor - separate differentareas making the most of the spaceinside the cabins. The two doorscan be blocked or unblocked atthe same time by a special deviceinserted in the recess obtainedbetween the bench and the door.
