WORK EXPERIENCE NATIONAL BANK OF PAKISTAN Relationship Manager / Financial Analyst (Corporate Banking Group) March 2013 to Present Achievements: Managing a diversified Portfolio of PKR 18 Billion with clients ranging from sugar industry, cement sector, shares financing, textile, Fertilizer and Power sector with direct reporting to unit head. Among the 30 candidates shortlisted from 400 for financial management course held at NBP training academy. Among the only one shortlisted by group chief from Corporate Banking Group for the sugar mill inspection at Nawabshah beside few members from Investment Banking and Inspection and review group. Re-started banking relationship with Dadex Eternit Limited which gave a total business of PKR 280 Million in 2014 as compared to Nil in 2013 resulting in increased earning and trade business for NBP. Job Responsibilities:- Preparing Credit Proposals for fresh financing facilities, One-Off facilities, and Annual reviews. Responsible for gathering information regarding the client, Industry and assessing and analyzing their financial information and risk factors. Interaction with various departments within the bank, customers, legal experts, borrower account handling has improved my multi-tasking abilities. Quarterly visits to existing clientele as well as to new to bank to better understand their business dynamics. Analysis of financial statements by using various ratios, market checks from different players in the same industry, market reports and briefing, analysis of the industry client is operating in. Working under strict credit policy framework in accordance with Prudential’s laid down by State Bank of Pakistan. Responsible for maintaining effective and long lasting business relationship with existing and new clients. Solely responsible to provide various reports of my Portfolio to top management at NBP as well as reporting to the State Bank of Pakistan.
