A family home set on the Northern lower slopes of the Sintra Hills. Sintra is a UNESCO

protected area. The house originating in the 16th century still maintains many of its original

attributes and traditional furniture but has been modermized to provide required comforts.

The House has 8 Bedrooms all of which have their own character. Aside from the family room

which has a shared bathroom all other rooms have their own en suite facilities.

The house boasts a large library, chapel, dining room and various lounge areas and stunning

views. Outside there are extensive gardens, swimming pool and tennis court. You can relax as

you wish either in the sun by the pool or reading a book in the shade or going for walks within

the property or in the surrounding area.

Our goal is to provide our guests with an unforgettable stay, in which you can relax in the

peace and quiet of Sintra and parteke of the beauty of the area.

There are many palaces and gardens of interest to visit within a short distance of the house,

and within half an hour you can be in the city of Lisbon with all its Historical buildings, or in the

night life of Estoril and Cascais, or on the beaches which surround the coastal area of Sintra.

Many of our guests returns as we like to treat you as friends enabling you to enjoy the facilities

of the house and area in the same way as the family.

Sintra´s Gem

Sao Thiago has a total of 8 rooms, spread over two floors, and each one has its special touch

and decoration.

The theme in question is the same as the room name: Blue, Yellow, Pink, Green, Chinese,

Angel, Flower, Gold, Suite.

With the exception of the Family Suite (Flower and Angel) that share a bathroom, all rooms

have a private bathroom with hand painted tiles.

The normal capacity per room is two guests, but for and extra fee per night we can add up an

extra bed and/or a baby cot (depending on the room).
