A tachogenerator for speed detection is included in the AC motor. Speed is controlled with a Speed Controller by using feedback signals from the motor.

The PG1200 incorporates a jerk limiting control function that minimizes vibrations during motor operation. Maximum operation pulse speed is 200 kHz, which is also ideal for driving a motor with microstep.
