ABOUT US

SINGAPORE ENVIRONMENT INSTITUTE

• Set up as the Centre for Environmental Training (CET) in January 1993

• an internal training arm of the Singapore Ministry of the Environment (ENV)

• SEI became a training division of the National Environment Agency (NEA) in July 2002

• help to fulfill NEA’s mission by providing quality environmental training so that…

Under the aegis of the Singapore Co-operation Programme, regular training courses are

conducted on a range of environmental topics for participants from fellow developing counties.

Goal : To prevail over our limitations. To build a Singapore that will give its people the best living environment, one that will endure for generations to come

SGP 2012 aims to ensure Singapore’s sustainability through a comprehensive set of measures covering all aspects of the environment, from the management of waste to the monitoring of air and water quality to the protection of public health. Also aims to complement government-led programmes with the building of a nation committed to caring for the environment, at home, at work, and at play.
