SIMRAD SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH KEY WEST BOATS Marine Electronics Leader Partners With Fishing Powerboat Manufacturer
Tulsa, OK – Simrad Yachting, a leader in the design and manufacture of world-class
marine navigation, autopilot, radar, communications and fishfinding systems,
announced today its partnership with Key West Boats, Inc. With a reputation for
uncompromising attention to detail, particularly in construction and design, Key West
has established a history of a worry-free experience for owners and unsurpassed
resale value for prospective buyers. Key West has selected the Simrad NSO evo2
system to be the standard navigation system for the new series of Billistic high-
performance offshore fishing boats – adding value and excellence to this heritage.
The Billistic 351 by Key West is the first of three exciting new models in the series.
This beautiful 35-foot center console, designed for offshore fishing, is powered by
three 300-horsepower Yamaha outboard engines and features a host of innovative
technologies including the Yamaha Helm MasterTM joystick steering system. Key
West and Simrad have partnered to develop glass bridge helms with the purpose of
complete vessel integration and a modern flat dash look. The flagship of the Billistic
series sports an NSO evo2 navigation system using dual 16-inch multi-touch glass
bridge monitors integrated with Helm Master for autopilot and engine data
presentation, and also features digital switching, SonicHub® audio entertainment,
GoFree® wireless connectivity, open array radar, CHIRP sonar technology, and a
RS35 VHF with remote Bluetooth wireless handset.
Setting a new standard in electronic navigation, the NSO evo2 brings big-boat glass
bridge style to mid-sized powerboats. The system provides dual processors and
video output that can drive the two 16-inch screens completely independently with

different feature sets. It effectively gives boaters two multifunction devices (MFDs) for
the price of one. Offering high-power processing for lightning fast charting, sonar,
radar and entertainment on stunning dual widescreen displays, the NSO evo2 has
nearly limitless capability for unrivaled integration.
