El 12 Simposium Internacional del Oro y de la Plata tendrá lugar en Lima el 17 y 18 de mayo de 2016. Este evento es organizado por la Sociedad Nacional de Minería, Petróleo y Energía y su principal objetivo es promover la conciencia del potencial de los recursos naturales, en particular del oro y de la plata, así como fomentar inversiones y oportunidades de nuevos negocios. Este Simposium abordará una variedad de temas tales como: tendencias y perspectivas de los mercados de oro y plata, su impacto en la economía mundial y el rol clave que las actividades mineras cumplen en el desarrollo de muchos países, tales como el Perú. Al mismo tiempo, el evento es una magnífica ocasión para reunir información sobre nuevas operaciones y proyectos de oro y plata, especialmente de la región, entre otros temas de interés.
Productor líder de oro y plata Perú es el primer productor de oro de Latinoamérica y sexto productor del mundo. En el 2014, la producción peruana fue de 140 toneladas. En lo que a plata se refiere Perú es el tercer mayor productor del mundo y el segundo de Latinoamérica con 3778 toneladas.
The 12th International Gold & Silver Symposium will take place in Lima on May 17 - 18, 2016. This event is organized by the National Mining, Petroleum and Energy Society of Peru. Its main objective is to promote awareness in the potential of natural resources, particularly gold and silver resources. The event also aims at fostering new investments and business opportunities. This Symposium will address a variety of topics such as: trends and perspectives in the gold and silver markets, their impact in the world economy, and the key role mining activities play in the development of many countries such as Peru. At the same time, this event is a great opportunity to have access to information about new gold and silver operations and projects, especially of the region, among other important topics.
Leading position as gold and silver producePeru is the first gold producer in Latin America and the sixth producer in the world. In 2014, Peru’s production was 140 tons. Regarding silver, Peru ranks third among the world’s largest producers and the second of Latin America with a production of 3,778 tons.

El 12 Simposium Internacional del Oro y de la Plata reunirá a más de 1000 participantes, incluyendo empresarios, inversionistas, ejecutivos y profesionales del más alto nivel relacionados principalmente a las actividades mineras de oro y plata, al igual que a funcionarios de gobierno, analistas y ejecutivos de importantes proveedores de bienes y servicios esenciales para la industria minera.
The 12th International Gold & Silver Symposium will assemble more than 1,000 participants, including very high-level entrepreneurs, investors, executives and professionals related mainly to gold and silver mining activities. Participants will also be government officials, analysts, and executives of important suppliers of essential goods and services for the mining industry.

Al igual que en anteriores simposios, la tradicional Exhibición Minera tendrá lugar concurrentemente a las conferencias y los stands serán excelentes vitrinas que permitirán a los visitantes familiarizarse con los nuevos productos ofrecidos por los proveedores de bienes y servicios para la minería.
As in the past symposiums, the traditional Mining Exhibition will take place simultaneously with the conferences. Its booths will be excellent showcases to allow visitors to become acquainted with new products offered by suppliers of mining goods and services.

En mayo de 2014, se llevó a cabo con gran éxito el 11º Simposium Internacional del Oro y de la Plata. Más de 1,000 participantes representando a 23 países del mundo asistieron a las conferencias programadas.
Más de 45 distinguidos expositores peruanos y del extranjero participaron activamente compartiendo sus experiencias y conocimientos.
In May 2014, the 11th International Gold & Silver Symposium was held with great success. More than 1,000 participants from 23 countries worldwide attended the programmed conferences.
