  • WHY THINK OF WATER AS AN INGREDIENT?

Heres the problem: you decide to make your favourite soup, using the finest, freshest ingredients. But without a second thought you use water from the tap which could add a variety of unpleasant extras.

Kineticos solution: water filters which purify your supply, giving you crystal clean and delicious tasting water. Its Reverse Osmosis technology significantly reduces unwanted aromas, tastes, minerals and chemicals.

Sounds confusing? Well, what Reverse Osmosis produces is perfectly clear. Reverse Osmosis systems, such as the Kinetico K5, have three phases of filtration.

    Heres what they do:

Pre-filtration gets rid of the larger particles and chlorine.

Reverse Osmosis sees water pass through a semi-permeable membrane to filter out inorganic compounds (like metals and nitrates), getting rid of impurities.

HOW DOES FILTERED WATER IMPROVE YOUR RECIPES? HOW DOES REVERSE OSMOSIS WORK?

As a chef I go out of my way to procure the finest ingredients for my dishes, Steve says.

Why wouldnt I want the finest water? Water is the foundation of so many recipes. It can represent the majority of a recipe, and its quality can affect the outcome of a dish.

STEVE SCHIMOLER - CROP BISTRO & BAR

Before he found out about how Kinetico water filters could improve the taste of his recipes, Steve says he never thought about the range of unwelcome flavours normal water can carry.

He says the Reverse Osmosis system he uses in his restaurant gives him the clean canvas which lets the flavours in his recipes shine.

Water has become one of my most valuable ingredients, Steve adds.

Post-filtration sweeps away any unpleasant tastes or smells that could remain.

You too can make great recipes taste even better by using pure, filtered water to really enhance and bring out the flavour. Youll find the Reverse Osmosis technology in the premium Kinetico K5 range of filtration systems.
