•This is a pulley•A pulley is a wheel that ususally has a groove around the outside edge•The real world example is the top of a flag pole•It helps pull the flag go up and down
•This is a screw•A screw is an inclined plane wrapped around a shaft or a cylinder•The real world example is the bottom of a light bulb•It scews the light into it’s socket
•This is a wedge •A wedge is two inclined planes joined back to back•The real world example is a door stoper •It helps stop the door and keep it open
•This is a wheel and axle•The real world example is a ferris wheel•It makes it fun at carnivals, festivals and etc.•It’s job is to roll or spin
