Mobile Device setup

Setup SIM Services on Mobile device

Insert the new SIM into an iOS or Android mobile device and power it on. Next, follow the steps for your mobile device type.

Apple iOS Devices1. Insert the SIM and go to Settings->Phone->SIM Applications->Multi-

Account.

Note: The iPhone must be hardware “unlocked” to perform these steps. (The iPhone cannot be “locked” toward any carrier.)

2. Click on Set Global Fallback, verify that the setting is set to Disabled (if not, disable it), then click Back.

3. Click on Multi-Account, then Country Selection. Set the value to Chameleon EU.

4. Now go to Settings->Mobile Data->Mobile Data Options->Mobile Data Network. Enter mobiledata in the APN field.

5. Return to Settings->Phone->SIM Applications->Multi-Account6. Now select Country Selection, and click on Chameleon UK

7. Return to Settings->Mobile Data->Mobile Data Options->Mobile Data Network, and again enter mobiledata in the APN field (it may already be set.)

8. Now return to Settings->Phone->SIM Applications->Multi-Account once more.

9. Click on Set Global Fallback, this time click Enabled, then click on Back.

10. After enabling the Global Fallback option, reboot the mobile device. It may take a short period of time to enable the sim to latch onto the roaming network for users located outside of United Kingdom. Once your mobile phone restarts you are finished with the iPhone steps.

Android Devices1. Select the Sim Toolkit or Sim Services App from Apps or Settings >

SIM & Network. This is required for selecting the correct country for the SIM as well as to associate it to the correct network. The screenshots below show the options selected using an Android (Galaxy S5) device. The option for sim services will differ on different devices.

2. Click on Multi-Account > Set Global Fallback, verify that the setting is set to Disabled (if not, disable it), then click Back.

3. From Multi-Account, select Country Selection.

5. Navigate to Settings→more networks→mobile networks→Access point names or Settings -> data usage -> cellular networks -> access point names. Enter mobiledata in the APN field. (path could be different based on Android OS version)

6. Again, navigate to Multi-Account >Country Selection but this time select Chameleon UK.

7. Navigate to Settings→more networks→mobile networks→Access point names or Settings -> data usage -> cellular networks -> access point names. Enter mobiledata in the APN field. (path could be different based on Android OS version)

8. Once more, navigate to Multi-Account > Global Fallback and ensure it is Enabled.

9. After enabling the Global Fallback option, reboot the mobile device. It may take a short period of time to enable the sim to latch onto the roaming network for users located outside of United Kingdom. Once your phone has restarted, you are finished with the Android steps.
