Special Sunday NightWorship Event
Sunday Evening Worship, January 5Tristin Roberson and Miller Jarrell will bless us with a time of prayer and worship this Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. Having just returned from the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City, Tristin and Miller have much in which to share and this will truly be an inspirational time.
Service of Repentance andRe-dedication
Dear Members & Friends of Silver Creek:Sunday, January 12, our two worship services at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. willjoin together into one worship event at 10:30 a.m. A Service of epentanceand Re- dedication, we will take again the vows of Christian Discipleship and remember the vows we took (or that were taken for us at our baptism). Christie Robbins, Pastor at Ovilla UMC, will preach the service. This event will be the "kick-off" to our Healthy Church Initiative, and is a time for us all to come together. I encourage you to mark this on your calendar andto make it a priority to be there and to participate. I look forward toseeing you then.

Teen Challenge Choir in Concert
The twenty-voice choir of Teen Challenge, Azle, will bless our two worship services (both 9 & 11) on Sunday, January 19, with song and with testimony. Our church has been blessed by Teen Challenge before, a ministry dedicated to helping men and women find freedom from addictions. In addition to worship, Teen challenge will have hand-made items for sale to help fundtheir ministry.

I am so overwhelmed by all the love and support that the congregation has given to the choir for the Christmas Cantata. Thank you so much! We will continue to provide more specials in the upcoming months. Please continue to be in prayer for Worship at the church, and how God can use you through that, whether it be support, or you even being a part of the choir or the Synergy service. Here is a scripture to speak over yourself and really believe as we start this new year:
