The first of our newsletters aims to bring you up to date with all the exciting activities at Sikh Channel Sikh Spectrum delivers in style! Sikh Channel wanted to give our viewers something different, so Sikh Spectrum set off to Aston Martin headquarters in Gaydon to interview Balraj Singh and showcase some real dream machines! Born and bred in the UK, Balraj was drawing images of cars from the age of 6. He left school at the age of 16 to take on a engineering apprenticeship gaining invaluable experience whilst also being paid and educated at the same time. As an Ambassador for STEM (science technology engineering & maths) Balraj has presented to many school children to educate & inspire them, backed by the greatest automotive brand that exists. The past few months has seen some significant changes at Sikh Channel to ensure continue to bring our viewers with a progressive Channel & series of programmes. Whilst we might not have the same budgets as the mainstream channels, we are confident that your support combined with our investment will make a difference and provide you with a channel you are proud to be part of. Some recent changes to tell you about: New CEO Recruitment of new professional team Office revamp including new staging Purchase of new servers & latest HD mixers for uninterrupted, quality coverage Name: Baljinder Singh Age: 29 Status: Married Lives: Stoke on Trent Job Title: Production/Broadcasting Executive Baljinder is a key member of the Sikh Channel team, responsible for all off- site live events. Baljinder’s experience is vast, having worked in production management for the past 12 years. Sikh Channel is the FIRST broadcasting channel of its kind in the world broadcasting Sikh religious and cultural shows around the clock across the world. Sikh Channel has managed to fill a huge void within the world of television, being the first channel to focus upon the essence of the Sikh faith, providing a European free-to-air television platform for Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike. Sikh channel is an integral part of the lives of the European Sikh community. Our first newsletter is dedicated to all our loyal supporters, without whom we wouldn’t be here. Sikh Spectrum delivers in style!Sikh Channel wanted to give our viewers something different, so Sikh Spectrum set off to Aston Martin headquarters in Gaydon to interview Balraj Singh and showcase some real dream machines!

Beyond the UKSikh channel has officially launched in Canada through the Bell Vibe network on channel 667 with an imminent launch due on the Rodgers network proposed for 25th June 2013. Our aim is to provide many live & recorded programmes from Canada to the UK Sangat also. As we progress with these development we will keep you updated. In the meantime please take the opportunity to tell your Canadian friends & family about the opening of the Sikh channel in Canada.

April 2013 saw our first programme from Melbourne Australia, showcasing d-live programmes for 5 days during the Vaisakhi period. The sangat of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Craigieburn , Australia warmly welcomed Sikh Channel & expressed their excitement knowing their programmes would be broadcast by Sikh Channel.
