About this Index PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This index lists private properties which either contain or are attached by significant trees as listed in Strathfield Council’s Significant Tree Register. Copies of the Significant Tree Register are available from Council’s Customer Service Centre. Miscellaneous Palms (Appendix A) and Remnant Indigenous Trees (Appendix B) are integral components of the Register and are therefore included in the index. These items are listed in alphabetical order along with other Register listings. Properties containing significant trees are highlighted in bold lettering. Refer to listings in the Register. Other adjoining properties which may be affected by these trees, in the extent of roots or canopy, are shown in normal font. For example: 7 Victoria Street is a property listing shown in the Register. 9 Victoria Street is an adjoining property, referred to in the section “Extent of Influence” for the above listing (ie refer to 7 Victoria Street STR.106). Note that palms and trees listed in Appendices A & B do not have “extent of influence” data for adjoining properties.

ORIGIN Listed trees are divided into two origin groupings. R = Remnant Indigenous Trees C = Cultural/Historic Plantings

HERITAGE STATUS Heritage Status refers to the heritage status of the property. Heritage listings usually include reference to significant trees in the statements of heritage significance. LEP 2012 means Strathfield Planning Scheme Ordinance. LEP 2012 is Local Environmental Plan 105.
