Forging new paths in cross-border traffic will require knowledge and mastery of Europes certification procedures. This applies to initial certification as well as to upgrades and retrofits. Thats why you should rely on a strong partner: Thanks to more than 25 multi-country certifica-tions for the Eurosprinter and Eurorunner locomotives, successfully completed in 16 European countries, Siemens has a wealth of experience from which the Vectron now also benefits.

Powerful variants for strictly AC, strictly DC, or for flexible multi-system applica-tions support the use of four different voltage systems. Vectrons innovative and intelligent concept ensures current and future flexibility in European sys-tems, and is designed for cost-effective ERTMS migration. Adding or removing train protection systems is not a problem with the right preliminary equipment package.

While you benefit from simpler, faster certification procedures, Vectrons pio-neering country package concept en-sures low costs for future upgrades or retrofits for use on different European corridors. Retrofitted vehicles are quickly ready for new applications with minimal time and effort required for certification.

Youll be able to optimize travel times for your Vectron locomotives. A Europe-wide network of workshops allows preventive maintenance even far from the home

depot. Necessary spare parts will reach you in time, ensuring that all work can be performed rapidly. You get greater flexibility for your operations and avoid an investment in sparepart stock.

And if an incident should occur at some point no matter where or when rapid help is available. A help desk is standing by around the clock to work out the best possible solution for you. It will then be implemented by mobile service techni-cians or by a Siemens or other authorized workshop.
