COPPER ROTORSThe use of copper rotors delivers significant advantages comparedto die-cast aluminium rotors: Improved conductivity & long, permitted run-up time with difficultdrive conditions Longer, permitted locked rotor time High torque, particularly in the last third of the running up and thussecure acceleration of the driven load High temperature stability up to 400C, thereby high resistivelyduring temporary overstress and voltage fluctuations and/orbreakdowns. Running-ups with 80% of the rated voltage protected at squareload-torque and 90% of motor output.
