DIRECTOR: The BNC Chorale is directed by David Lunn Miller, Professor of Choral Music, Organ, and Church Music. Raised as a Nazarene parsonage in Kansas City, he attended BNC for his undergraduate work. Mr. Miller recently com­pleted his Master's degree in Church Music at the Westminister Choir College of Princeton, New Jersey. He has studied organ with Wilma Jensen and Robert Carwithen, and choral music with Joseph Flummerfelt. In addition, he has par• ticipated in the Robert Shaw Conductor's Seminars 1975 · 1977. During his graduate work, the director served as Mini~ter of Music for a prominent church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, directing several handbell, children and adult choirs.

COLLEGE: Bethany Nazarene College is a senior coeducational college which was founded in 1899. It is one of eight liberal" arts colleges. in the United States under the sponsorship of the Church of the Nazarene. BNC annually serves ap­proximately 1400 students who come from nearly every state, approximately ten foreign countries and thirty religious denominations. Degrees offered include Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music Education, and Master of Arts.

MUSIC DEPARTMENT: BNC offers various degree programs leading to careers in music. These programs prepare stu• dents for church music ministries, performance careers, private teaching, and public school teaching. The twenty mem­ber music facility offers courses in areas such as music history, theory, conducting, teaching, church music and all applied fields.
