General
1. Reduce calorie intake. Reduction of calorie intake per day has been shown in many species to increase longevity
2. Have multiple meals (~6-10) per day comprised of smaller portions to avoid fluctuation of insulin. Insulin inhibits gene signaling that improve repair.
3. Do not allow yourself to get fat. Increase body mass increases the work of stem cells
4. Have a balanced diet comprised of fibers, minerals, vitamins, and protein
5. Reduce stress in your life. Stress shorten lifespan
7. Smile frequently. Smiling reduces stress
8. Rest and have regular sleep that allows you to have a fresh feeling the next day
9. Take vacations and relax with music, good conversation, or a hobby each day
10. Choose a job that you love to reduce your stress during the day
11. If possible do not commute to reduce stress due to driving
12. Exercise frequently (short periods of 2-3 times daily and one to two times per week of exercise that increases the heart rate). Exercise, increases blood flow, and increases the endorphins in the brain allowing you to become happy and relaxed

Foods the avoid
1.Sugar. Glucose turns on insulin pathway and inhibits the repair pathways. Glucose whether in natural (honey, grapes, raisin) or artificial (sugar, or sugar cubes) products exert the same effects
2.Fat. All food that you eat has fat. Do not add fat to your food (do not fry, do not add cheese)
3.Salt. Excess salt leads to vasoconstriction and over time leads to hypertension. Use seasoning, lemon juice or pepper to add taste to your food
4.Red meat. Myoglobin which gives red color to red meat has an iron core. Iron causes cell damage.
5.Animal meat. Animal meats particularly when barbecued lead to aging and cancer
6.Avoid sweet fruits

Foods to consume
1.Have 3-6 cups of water (warm) in the morning. This increases the loss of waste products from your body and dilutes them in the blood
2.Try to use 10 cups of water per day
3.Get sunlight of about 5 minutes per day to receive the required vitamin D. Have your vitamin D measured in your blood and if low, add 1000 to 2000 IU of vitamin D to your diet
4.Include yogurt in your diet
5.Use proteins of plant origin (lentil, bean, pea, tofu)
6.Include legumes in your diet (almond, hazel nut)
7.Include unripened or sour fruits in your diet
8.Include turmeric in your die. Turmeric is anti-oxidant and reduces damage to cells which results from food consumption
9.Include vegetables in your diet. Vegetables add fiber, vitamins and minerals to your diet.
10.Include hot peppers in your diet. The capsaicin in hot peppers is anti-inflammatory and also cause euphoria
11.Include Wasabi, Horseradish, Rhubarb, Cauliflower in your diet
12.Take two cloves of crushed garlic and one tablespoonful of ultra virgin olive oil with one to two tablespoonful of yogurt (mix together) with your lunch and your dinner

Medicine
1.Resveratrol is anti-oxidant and has been shown to increase longevity in many different species. Glucoronides in the red wine increase the absorption of resveratrol significantly from the gastrointestinal tract. The dose for humans has not been determined but approximate dose is at least 25-500 mg.
2. Aspirin is anti-inflammatory (>1000 mg daily) and has been shown to reverse (at 3-4 grams per day) the diabetic hyperglycemia and to lower cholesterol in the blood. To avoid gastrointestinal impact of the acidic nature of this drug, aspirin might be used as salsalate.
3. Vitamin D; 1000-2000 IU units per day
