Tree planting and landscape mounding are intended to be integrated into the design and placement of the seats.

One precast concrete form - when flipped and multiplied - creates a seating element.

REO dowel entry points, designed into the modular system, enable fixing the individual forms to each other as well to ancillary concrete footings.

SABERTOOTH SEATS

‘Sabertooth Seats’ consists of one modular precast concrete form, which - when flipped and multiplied - creates intriguing urban intrusions along the natural Shrimptons Creek corridor.

Their intention is to conjure curiosity among those who interact with them, be they sit on them, climb on them or simply admire their modular assembly.

Please be mindful that this is a concept only at this stage. It is anticipated that the final precast concrete form, fixing method and composition of forms would occur during the detailed design and documentation phase.
