FROM THE EDITOR

Welcome to the Illuminaries, a news letter for the

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at our

premier institution, SVECW! . It’s a great pleasure to share the

progress in academic year 2017-2018.Shri Vishnu Engineering Col-

lege for Women kindles the knowledge of flame and not the empty

vessel because education without values is meaningless and is just a

mere wandering for lifestyles.

The chief guest for the inaugural was Sri.G V Rao garu , Chief Oper-

ating Officer K C P Sugars and Industries Corporation Ltd. Our Principal

Dr.G.Srinivasa Rao garu, Vice-Principal Shri P. Srinivasa Raju garu

and Convener , Dr.P V V Rama Rao garu were the dignitaries on the

dais. There is a huge re-

sponse from various par-

ticipants from other states

from india. The valedic-

tory function ended up by

distributing certificates to

the winners and the re-

ceived a fanstastic feed-

back from the students

and also vote of thanks.

Symposia have a predominant

role in technical education and

they involve a whole complex

of visual communications like

talent, creative ability, manual

skill, and also technical knowl-

QUIZ ,TECHNICAL ANTHAYAK-

SHARI ,TECH BEAT. In this

event more than 200 enthusiastic

students actively participated. VALIDATORY FUNCTION OF ILLUMINARIES ANNUAL DAY

GROUND TO WATER AMPHIBIAN VEHICLE WITH INTEGRATED PROPULSION DESIGN

STUDENT PROJECTS 2017-18

The objective of this project is to develop a sys-

tem which can move on both surfaces of land and wa-

ter. Unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) brings about a

combination of sensors integrated. There is also soft-

ware interface developed to provide an interactive envi-

ronment between the user and the system. Enabling the

user to plan the path of the vehicle, upload the mission-

plan into the system and to display real time data ob-

tained from sensors, speed of the vehicle.

AUTOMATIC SOLAR POWERED FIELD IRRIGATION SYSTEM

The main motto of this project is to

reduce the shortage of power supply in vil-

lages The system draws power from solar

energy through photo-voltaic cells. Hence,

dependency on irregular commercial power

is not required. In this project, solar en-

ergy is used to operate the irrigation pump.

Two stiff copper wires are inserted in the

soil to sense whether the soil is wet or dry.
