Leadership On the 1st of Apri l, the Project Lead t he Way curriculum came by to observe and ceritfy ouPLTW classes. With such certification, we will be able to use our pathway course for college

credit, helping our f uture goal to persue an engineering career.

During t he month of february, fut ure Internship recruiters came in t o view t he school, as w

learn about each pathway of fered at our school. Prior the event I was chosen, and actually

part of t he event on the actual day.

On Saturday, February 26, 2011 I was chosen to serve as a volunteer at the University of Te

for the annual Introduce A Gir l to Engineering Day. Such activty gave me an opportu nity to

demonstrate my int erest tow ards obtaining a career in the engineering f ield.

Con Mi Madre Organization member, applied in 5th grade and have been a p art of such

leadership group ever since.

As a th ree year member of the San Jose youth g roup m y responsabil i t y h as grown as I take

position of youth director. With such position Iam i n charge of organizing proj ects; food sa

and help prepare breakfast(for Sundays) once a month.

One of our most important accomplishments in the engineering pathway. Was assigned to design

a bridge using West Point Bridge Builder for an imaginary town of Richardsville Underwent the

engineering proccess including the design brief, modications, and presentations to professional

engineers.
