Short CV of Roberta Caragnano Professor of Social Policies and Labour Law ROBERTA CARAGNANO is Professor of Social Policies and Labour Law in LUMSA University (Rome), General Secretary of Stati Generali del Patrimonio Italiano (The General States of the Italian Heritage, web site https://www.statigeneralipatrimonio.it/ ) and General Secretary of Nautic District of Apulia Region. She is Scientific Director of Book Series: Labour Law, Commecial law and Maritime Law (edited by Libellula Univerity Press), a member of NNLE “Center for Contemporary Labour Law” (Tbilisi, Georgia). She is a Professor of labour law and euro-projecting consultant. She is a lawyer and legal advisor for national and international institutions, trade unions, association of employers, and governmental groups on labour legislation, collective bargaining, labour market, gender policies and discrimination. She is a Client Service Contractor of Ernst & Young Financial Business Advisor (Milan). She has an academic profile: PhD in Labour Law and Industrial Relations at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (2007-2010), she was researcher, temporary staff, in the period 2010-2014, within the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Economy Department “Marco Biagi”, and ADAPT Senior Research fellow. From 2012-2014 she was Director of Publishing ADAPT University Press and member of editorial staff of Collana ADAPT- Centro Studi Marco Biagi and member of the editorial board of the book series ADAPT- Centro Studi Marco Biagi, published by Giuffrè. She was (2011-2015) Editor in chief of the Journal Diritto delle Relazioni Industriali (published by Giuffrè, Milan). In 2010 she was visiting researcher at Inter-University Centre at the Institute for Eastern European Studies, Free University Berlin. She was member of the Scientific board of the International Doctoral School of University of Bergamo and Politecnico of Bari and of Schools of Management. From August 2010 to February 2011 she was legal advisor of the National Equality Body Counsellor, of the Italian Ministry of Labour. She has also been speaker at several national and international conferences. She has joined several national and European funded project, related to the topics of Labour law, Industrial relations; among she was general coordinator of LIBRA project, Let’s Improve Bargaining, Relations and Agreements on work and life times balance, Project co- funded by the European Commission and YOUnion, Union for Youth, Project co-funded by the European Commission. She has authored numerous articles and publications in the field of labour law, equal opportunities and workers’ participation. In 2011 she wrote a monograph, The Code of participation. Contribution to the study of employee participation, Milan, Giuffrè.
