El Servicio de Correos y Telégrafos de España

es de gran utilidad para envíos de paquetes

postales, telegramas, giros postales y

paquetería urgente. En Cibeles se encuentra la

central de correos y telégrafos. En cada barrio

hay una oficina de correos, pero su horario es

un tanto limitado, por tanto se recomienda

que si sólo va a enviar una carta o una postal,

adquiera el sello en el estanco y lo deposite en

cualquiera de los miles de buzones que pueblan

la capital.

The Postal and telegraph service in Spain is

very useful for sending packages, telegrams,

wires and urgent packages. The Post Office

Headquarters is located in Cibeles Plaza. In

every neighborhood, there is a post office, but

their hours are quite limited, so if you only wish

to send a postcard or letter, it is advisable to

purchase the stamps from the estanco and

put it into one of the thousands of mail boxes

located throughout Madrid.

FARMACIAS / PHARMACIES

Son los establecimientos en los que se adquieren

los medicamentos, están señalizados con una

cruz de color verde. Es muy fácil encontrarlas

y su horario es prácticamente el mismo que el

del comercio, aunque muchas abren 24 horas.

Si la que ha encontrado no está abierta, tendrá

un cartel en el que se indique dónde pueden

atenderle cerca de allí.

These are the establishments that sell medicine.

They can be distinguished by signs with green

crosses. They are easy to find and their hours

are very similar to other stores, although many

are open 24 hours. If the one you have found is

closed, there will be a list posted on the shop

front indicating the nearby pharmacies open at

La marca Creadores España ya está a la venta en El Corte Inglés de Castellana. La primera shop in shop de la marca, especialmente concebida para exponer con una imagen muy cuidada lo mejor de las colecciones de los primeros diseñadores que participan en este proyecto: Ailanto, Alma Aguilar, David Delfín, Devota & Lomba, Juanjo Oliva, Lemoniez y Miriam Ocariz.

Con la apertura de este espacio, Creadores España hace su primera incursión en el mercado español de la mano de El Corte Inglés y complementa, de esta manera, la presencia ya existente de otros diseñadores españoles en los grandes almacenes.

The brand name Spain Fashion Creators is now on sale in El Corte Inglés Department Store in Castellana Street, Madrid. It is the first shop-in-shop of the brand, specially created for showing with a very good cared image the best of the collections of the Spanish fashion designers who first participate in this project: Ailanto, Alma Aguilar, David Delfín, Devota & Lomba, Juanjo Oliva, Lemoniez y Miriam Ocariz.

Thanks to the opening of this space, Fashion Creators Spain does its first foray in the Spanish market by the hand of El Corte Inglés Department Store and adds, in this way, the existing presence of Spanish fashion designers in department stores.

En los alrededores de la Puerta del Sol y Plaza Mayor, se encuentran la mayor parte de las tiendas tradicionales especializadas, regalos (sombreros, abanicos, porcelanas...) souvenirs, artículos religiosos, instrumentos musicales, guitarras, luthiers, alpargatas, cordelerías, capas españolas, cerámicas, vestidos tradicionales, artículos de flamenco, discos y libros.

El Rastro. Las mañanas de domingos y festivos el rastro nos ofrece productos de segunda mano, antigüedades, artículos de colección, decoración y las cosas más inverosímiles y sorprendentes.

Calle Princesa - Gran Vía - Carmen y Preciados. En estas calles se puede encontrar centros comerciales, grandes cadenas y firmas españolas de prestigio internacional especializadas en regalos, piel, joyas, moda, zapatos, etc.

Calle Barquillo conocida como la calle del sonido, está repleta de tiendas de electrónica, HIFI, audio e imágen.

Calles Fuencarral, Almirante, Prim, Piamonte...Es sin duda la zona de compras más atrevida y vanguardista de Madrid. Destacan las tiendas de jovenes diseñadores de moda y accesorios. “Visita obligada” al mercado de Fuencarral, un antiguo mercado reformado que ofrece tiendas curiosas de moda y complementos. Cercano a éste, existen diversas tiendas de muestrarios de zapatos en la calle Augusto Figueroa. Es la zona de Madrid más representativa de las compras de diseño y locales gays.

El 1 de enero comienza la temporada de rebajas en Madrid dentro de un mar de ofertas y precios. El consumidor tiene la última palabra y nosotros la intención de informarle sobre todo lo referente a la compra de artículos rebajados:

• Estos no pueden estar deteriorados o ser de calidad inferior a los que se venden en la temporada regular de compras. • Los productos deben estar debidamente etiquetados y en ellos deben figurar el precio inicial y el rebajado. • En caso de adquisición de un artículo defectuoso, el consumidor tiene derecho a la reparación gratuita del mismo o al cambio por otro en perfectas condiciones. • Siempre se debe exigir el ticket o justificante de compra. • El comerciante debe aceptar las devoluciones siempre que éstas sean por causa justificada. • Las señales que se dejan a cuenta se consideran anticipos del precio. • Se debe preguntar siempre por la garantía de los productos adquiridos. • Si durante la venta en periodo regular se admite el pago con tarjeta de crédito debe admitirse también durante el periodo de rebajas. • Y por último, las hojas de reclamaciones deben estar a disposición de aquellos clientes que lo soliciten.
