COMPOSITE BRAKE SHOE FOR RAIL VEHICLES TYPE L/LL
CHARACTERISTIC
Composite brake shoes type L for electrical train units equipped with block brakes and type LL oraz typu LL type for freightcar boogies and passenger cars, applied as a substitute of cast iron inserts, without a necessity to change the construction
of braking system. It is made of asbestos-free, oil-proof, moulded friction material. It contains resins, elastomers, frictionmodifiers and mineral fibres reinforcing its structure.
It does not show aggressiveness to the anti-friction material and ensures quiet braking without sparking. It is characterizedby multiple lower wear level in comparison with cast iron shoes, high thermal resistance and a stable coefficient of frictionin variable atmospheric conditions.
