Welcome to the AW14 look book from Shoebridge, one of the UK’s leading footwear agencies and shoe consultants specialising in European comfort footwear, where we’re celebrating 21 years since we delivered our first shoes into the UK.

In addition to the fresh styles, design, textures and materials our designers have used to develop this year’s ranges, we’re delighted to introduce Spanish brand NewDress for the first time in the UK. With more than 30 years’ experience in both private label and own brand they’ve really got to grips with the needs of the consumer by providing a range which offers improved ergonomics, flexibility and comfort in every design. You can see the NewDress collection and each brand we represent on the following pages.

Suave remains our most popular brand in the UK and it’s not difficult to see why. Their customised production technique, attention to detail and deep understanding of their target market ensures a quality product, season after season. The brand has grown significantly across Europe over the last five years and is now extending into North America and Asia.

Soft Walk offers classic styling and comfort for men, using premium soft leathers for strength and hard wearing soles, which offer the freedom to move around all day. We’ve introduced new styling for AW14, with the addition of shoes and boots on a premium sole unit, something you’ll see reflected in a number of our ranges for AW14. In SS15 we’ll also be introducing our new DaSIlva brand designed to offer stand-out style for spring. The styles

are retro familiar and use two tone leathers, suede and contrast soles which are perfect for weekend wear.

There’s no doubt that Britain’s love affair with boots continues into AW14 and you don’t need to be a climatologist to work out why. From classic Chelsea style, dessert boots, perfect for the weekend or office to metallic textures, straps, buckles and stand out leathers we’re seeing continued growth in cosy flat and heel boots which are both stylish and practical, something we’ve reflected in our range for AW14.

We’ve taken great care to ensure that our brands complement each sector of the comfort market and we’ve chosen to work with a special group of manufacturers who place as much emphasis on the quality of the product, service to retailer and creative design as we do.

So, once we’ve sang ‘happy 21st birthday’ just one more time, it’s on with the shoe!

basis through Shoebridge. All other brands are available in the UK through Shoebridge on a made to order basis, with a minimum order of 100 pairs per colour per style.

Ricap City Shoes are ultra light and designed for everyday wear all day. They’re made from soft durable leathers which help the foot to breath and offer discrete styling which is perfect to complement the city suit.

Ricap slippers are luxuriously comfortable, with a natural wool

lining they’re designed to keep the foot warm. The uppers are made from soft suede and leathers and

they have a hard sole base.

The Portuguese footwear industry is sketching out it’s future thanks to innovation and lessons learnt from a colourful past. Portugal’s Prime Minister, Pedro Passo, saw for himself the investment made into technology and innovation at Ricap Group’s Headquarters in Northern Portugal, where the company is celebrating 30 years of production for global clients.

The group’s production capacity has grown significantly in recent years and with investment into plants to

manufacture every component associated with the shoe, they’re now leading the charge to increase exports to the wider global market.

Ricap’s Shoe Innovation Centres in Felgueirras continue the tradition of innovation as they dedicate themselves to discovering new shoe materials, developing modern shoe technologies, and creating fresh footwear that marries style with comfort.
