Install, certify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair data, voice, and video cabling systems - to include, but not limited to: Category cabling (mostly CATSe and CAT6), coaxial, fiber optic, and serial cabling. Install and maintain all interconnections including data cabinets, fans, UPS, and patch panel systems. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair classroom presentation equipment - including, but not limited to: projectors, interactive white boards, and document cam.eras. Perform installation (as needed), troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of digital signage and outdoor digital marquee sign systems. Install, troubleshoot, and repair security camera systems - including maintaining server and cam.era licensing. Maintain and repair to component level: computers, (Mac, PC, and Chromebooks), servers, monitors and associated peripherals, and other related electronic equipment. Perform bench work repair on miscellaneous electronic devices as needed. Work skillfully within a managed work order database. Possess strong team. oriented work skills. research and provide recommendations of new technologies. Provide occasional training to staff on the various installed systems. Continue education utilizing form.al training, "hands-on" experience, and teclmical data to stay current with existing and newly emerging technologies. Other duties as assigned. Special Requirements of the Position: Must be able to lift a forty- (40) pound weight overhead. Able to work in confined spaces or elevated positions (scaffold, extension ladders, etc.). Must be able to do repeated bending and lifting and be on your feet for extended periods of time. Qualifications: 1. Must have a two-year degree in electronics teclmology with major emphasis in PC systems or the equivalent in training/experience as evaluated by the Superintendent or designee. 2. Working knowledge of Windows, Macintosh, and Chrome operating systems. 3. One or more yeat:s of progressive experience in the development, installation, training and support of PC systems including LAN infrastructure. 4. This position has extensive personal contact with administrative and district staff, which i:equires interpersonal communication skills.
